Special Council Meeting
August 4, 2002

Bill Barker, Asst. Church Manager, called the Special Church Council Meeting to order at 11:20 A.M. in the church Sanctuary. A quorum (6) was met, with 8 being present.

Present: Bill Barker-Ass't Church Manager, Betty Ogden- Church Clerk, Sharon Schmidt-Stewardship, Glenn Wells-Trustees, Sue Nofi-Bendici-Outreach, Walt Crosby-Membership, Kathey DeMarco- Ass't Treasurer, Gene Ogden-Deacons, and Greg Schmidt-Pastor.

With the recent resignation of Mary Unger as Financial Secretary the meeting was called to address the need for a replacement.

Betty Ogden, representing the Nominating Committee, offered Kathey DeMarco, Church Secretary and Ass't Treasurer as a candidate.

A vote was then asked for. With unanimous consent the nomination was accepted.

Walt Crosby then moved that Kathey DeMarco be accepted as our new Financial Secretary. Motion was seconded by Sue Nofi-Bendici and passed.

Meeting was then adjourned at 11:30 A.M.
